Full-Time Hifz with Homeschooling

The Full-time Hifz program includes four entities:

  1. Hifz (Quran Memorization)

  2. Tajweed (The science of Quran recitation)

  3. Academic curriculum (Math, Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies) and

  4. Islamic studies

  • It is designed for boys and girls committed to memorizing the entire Quran with Tajweed.  These students are assisted with their school education through a homeschool / online program.

  •  Students will memorize the whole Quran in the shortest time possible while pursuing their academic education.

  • Along with the Hifz and academic study,  students are also taught the fundamental of Islam to display close attachment with their religion.

  • Students are expected to spend six (6) - seven (7) hours daily memorizing the Quran and two hours for academic support.

  • Every day students will have Hifz class in two (2) sessions:  morning  7:30  am - 2 pm (onsite) and evening 6 - 7:30 pm (online).

  • GIE evening online Hifz session helps students complete Hifz homework, which speeds up students' daily progress and makes it possible to finish Hifz in two - two and one-half (2-2.5)  years for most students.

  • A highly qualified teacher focused on every two students during the online Hifz session.

  • Our goal is to help students complete all Hifz daily tasks entirely under the GIE onsite and online; so parents do not have the burden to meet students' Hifz homework.

  • There will be a fixed schedule for two (2) hours to complete the academic curriculum under the supervision of a highly qualified teacher. The teacher guide students in study skills with core curriculum subjects (Maths, Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies).

  • We will try to complete all academic assignments at school; Parents are recommended to spend extra time on weekends and weekdays to ensure that students meet academic requirements.

  • He/she will be able to transfer generally to the next grade level in school upon completing the Hifz program.

Requirements for full-time Hifz enrolment:

  • A student will be allowed to attend classes after he /she is fully registered in the school. (For more details, consult ‘GIE  admission process’).

Quran Memorization

  • Hifz program helps students correctly recite, understand and memorize the Holy Quran within two(2) - three (3) years.

  • It is practically impossible to guarantee that he/she will complete the Quran at a specific time. Some students may take less than one year to memorize the Quran, while others may take up to three or four years. Our goal is to help the students memorize the Quran in a way that they may never forget.

  • Remember that becoming a Hafiz takes hard work and dedication from both the student and the parents.

  • Your child will go through an evaluation process and spend an assessment term of 30 - 90 days before final enrollment.

  • Students will continue attending public school during the evaluation process and only move to a homeschooling program if they become eligible for full-time Hifz; So students’ academic education will not be affected.

  • We will provide eligible students with a personalized tentative memorization plan that gives you an idea about how much progress your child is expected to achieve through the year.
